IMPORTANT CUSTOMER UPDATES DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Dear Customers and Patients,

In an ongoing effort to comply with the Governor’s Executive Order and the Marijuana Enforcement Division’s Industrywide Bulletin, we continue to research and implement additional payment methods to minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19 by reducing your time inside our stores and cutting down on cash transactions wherever possible.

We are happy to announce that we now accept all major credit cards as a method of payment, in addition to recently introduced online and debit card payment solutions. Please note that cash is still acceptable and we still have ATM’s inside our stores for your convenience for a $3.00 fee.

The table below summarizes your available payment options, however if you would like to understand them in greater detail, please read Cannabis Payment Methods Explained.

* if you are a Primary Patient Program customer and would like to have your points applied, or your purchase involves combination specials,  please come inside the store to finalize the transaction. Online pre-orders are prioritized in store.

Effective Friday, April 10th, our Denver SW, Sheridan, Northfield, and Denver East locations will return to regular operating hours of 9am-10pm Monday through Saturday, and 9am - 7pm on Sunday. Please note, that curbside pick up will only be available until 7pm at Sheridan and Northfield locations.

Denver East Medical will remain 9am-7pm every day.

Littleton, Nederland, and Fraser will continue operations according to the current schedule:

Fraser - 10am - 8pm everyday

Nederland - 9am - 7pm everyday

Littleton - 9am - 7pm Mon - Sat, 9am - 6pm Sun

In order to provide effective security measures, Curbside Pickup will only be available until 7pm at Sheridan and Northfield locations. Fraser and Nederland locations only have walk-up service without needing to enter the store physically. For most efficient utilization of curbside pickup or walk up, please be ready to pay by credit card at pickup or prepay online utilizing CanPay. In-Store Shopping Is Back. Curbside Pick Up Allowed for Online or Debit Card Payments Only


Dear Customers and Patients,

On March 30, 2020, Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (“MED”) issued INDUSTRY-WIDE BULLETIN 20-04, effectuating new adjustments to our operations, as well as reversing certain recent changes. For a complete list of reversals and modifications taking effect throughout our network on March 31, 2020, please read below and pay special attention to provided hyperlinks for more information on any particular topic.

1. Recreational marijuana customers are now able to shop in-store, though online order, payment and curbside pickup are strongly encouraged to minimize exposure. Orders can no longer be placed outside of any store. To help you with online ordering, we created these simple step-by-step instructions.

2. Curbside pickup can only be made if the order is prepaid online or if customer is able to pay by debit card via provided wireless terminals. 3. Stores will continue to abide by social distancing requirements, as well as other applicable CDPHE and CDC guidelines. For more information on social distancing and other measures being taken at our stores, please click here.

4. In store ATM’s are now accessible to customers wishing to pay in cash.

5. Denver SW location is now resuming its service for medical patients.

6. Stores’ operating hours remain unchanged until further notice per March 27th update.

Online and Debit Card Payments Now Available. Changes in Operating Hours 

Dear Customers and Patients,

We are happy to announce that we have tested and implemented two additional secure payment options at all of our locations which will benefit our patrons by reducing risky cash handling and providing real savings when paying online.

You can now pay online or with a debit card at curbside pick-up! To help you with online ordering, we created these simple step-by-step instructions.

If you would like to eliminate the hassle and fees associated with ATM’s and save time while shopping for the finest cannabis in town - we strongly encourage you to give CanPay a try.

There are absolutely NO FEES TO THE CUSTOMER associated with the use of this app! Their concept is similar to Venmo, PayPal and many other digital payment solutions. Using CanPay to pay for your online order means it will be ready to go when you arrive - eliminating the need to handle cash and make change, reducing your time in our lot all the while minimizing your exposure to others and parking lot traffic congestion. Please follow this link to learn more and sign up.

If you prefer to pay with a debit card at pick up - we are now accepting them curbside via wireless terminals. Don’t worry about bringing extra cash to tip your favorite budtender – you can simply add it to the total at pick up. The fee to the customer is $3.00 per transaction.

As always, we continue to accept cash. However, our stores’ ATMs are not accessible to customers due to COVID-19 precautionary measures and we remind you to wash your hands after handling cash.

Updated Operating Hours

Additionally, as we broaden our effort to ensure the safety of customers and employees, we are implementing the following changes to our business hours during the coronavirus pandemic effective Monday, March 30 until further notice:

• Denver East, Nederland, Northfield, Denver SW and Sheridan locations will switch to 9am-7pm 7 days a week;

• Fraser location will switch to 10am-8pm 7 days a week;

• Littleton location remains unchanged 9am-7pm Mon-Sat and 9am-6pm Sun


We would like to remind our medical patients that our Denver SW location has temporarily suspended medical sales and patients are encouraged to visit our Littleton location, which is only about 3.5 miles away, or approximately a 10 minute drive. Online ordering is available at Littleton, but patients are still able to shop in store.

Please keep in mind that the mandatory “curbside pickup” concept applies only to recreational stores, however, medical patients are also able to order online and request curbside pickup. If you are a new patient, or a regular patient who prefers to shop in person, please visit our Denver East or Littleton locations. Both of these stores serve medical marijuana patients 18 years of age and older, or registered caregivers for patients under 18 years of age and practice social distancing.

Attention Primary Patient Program customers. Attention Primary Patient Program customers, we currently do not have technical capabilities to apply your points and PPP discounts online, therefore, please select CASH as the payment method and you will be able to pay with either a debit card or cash at pick up.

Curbside Pick Up Update. Where to Go and How to Order

Dear Customers and Patients,

In compliance with Governor’s Executive Order D 2020 013, we are implementing a “curbside pickup” only policy at all of our recreational marijuana locations.

Beginning March 24, 2020, we encourage you to pre-order online prior to arriving for pick up (please, select your store in the dropdown). This will minimize your wait times and reduce traffic congestion. You will receive notifications from us when your order is confirmed and ready for pickup. You may also pre-order over the phone, though we anticipate the phones to be busier than normal due to unexpected call volume.

As we roll out this new process, we will be deploying additional personnel and security to manage the flow of traffic, check ID’s, receive payments, deliver orders curbside and make change. Please bear with us, as it is just as new to us, as it is to you in this everchanging yet exciting industry.

While we are still testing online and card based payment solutions for this new concept and plan on rolling them out in the near future, we remain a cash-only business and encourage you to bring exact change or funds in amounts close to what you are willing to tip the budtenders, to minimize wait times to produce change. Remember, tipping remains customarily optional.

In order to fully comply with the above-mentioned Executive Order, as well as various local regulations, while trying to deliver the finest experience possible, we are implementing additional temporary measures:

• Our Denver SW location will be temporarily suspending medical sales and patients are encouraged to visit our medical only Littleton location, which is only about 3.5 miles away, or approximately a 10 minute drive. Online ordering is available at Littleton, but Patients are still able to shop in store at this location.

• If we run out of room at the Denver SW location parking lot, we will be directing traffic to our new Sheridan location, which is only 1.8 miles away, or approximately a 5-7 minute drive. Our Sheridan location provides abundant parking space and we are working on implementing “drive through” style traffic flow capabilities. Customers are also encouraged to pre-order online.

• Similarly, in the event If we run out of parking space at the Denver East location, we will be directing traffic to our newest Northfield location, which is only 3.8 miles away, or approximately a 12-15 minute drive. Our Northfield location has the largest parking lot among our dispensaries, and we are working on implementing “drive through” style service. Customers are also encouraged to pre-order online.

• Our Fraser location will be providing exit packaging for every order and levying a town-mandated $0.20 tax per transaction. This is a necessary safety measure to protect both customers and staff while complying with the town ordinance.

Please keep in mind that the mandatory “curbside pickup” concept applies only to recreational stores, however, medical patients are also able to pre-order online and request curbside pickup. Be sure to select your location when making an online order. If you are a new patient, or a regular patient who prefers to shop in person, please visit our Denver East or Littleton locations. Both of these stores serve medical marijuana patients 18 years of age and older, or registered caregivers for patients under 18 years of age.

At this time we are not restricting customers and patients from purchasing up to their legally permitted medical or recreational limits and our business hours are unchanged.

Curbside Pick Up Instituted at Recreational Dispensaries Starting March 24


Dear Customers and Patients,

Yesterday, Governor Polis signed Executive Order D 2020 013, Ordering Colorado Employers to Reduce In-Person Workforce by Fifty-Percent Due to the Presence of COVID-19 in the State, which provides that effective Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Medical Marijuana Stores can offer sales either inside the Licensed Premises or by “curbside” pickup, but that Retail Marijuana Stores are limited to “curbside” pickup only.

This effectively means that today, March 23, 2020 is the last day you will be able to purchase retail (recreational) marijuana in person at our stores, prior to switching to “curbside pick-up” only on Tuesday, March 24. Beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020 we will be enabling “curbside pick-up” at all of our Retail (recreational) Marijuana locations. You will be required to place your orders online or over the phone prior to arriving at the location.

While we are diligently working on implementing secure online and card-based payment solutions, at this time we remain cash-only. We encourage you to bring exact change to minimize your wait time at the time of pick up and reduce traffic congestion. Please note, this restriction applies only to Retail Marijuana Stores and our Medical Marijuana Stores will continue to comply with the six (6) foot social distancing requirement between all employees and patrons and enhanced cleaning procedures, as well as all relevant CDC and CDPHE recommended guidance in order to protect the health and safety of all involved.

Because “curbside pick-up” is a new and untested concept, as it applies to the marijuana industry, we ask for your patience as we work through the operational challenges these times present and encourage you to monitor our website for important updates.

FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY DURING A CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES

• Do NOT enter if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are feeling cold-like or flu-like symptoms.

• Stand on designated X marks to ensure 6' social distancing.

• If store is at capacity - check in with front desk, but then please wait outside or in your vehicle. We will notify you as soon as you can enter.

• You will be asked to briefly remove a FACE MASK for ID verification and video capture.

• No SMELL JARS for the time being - Sorry.

• We are cleaning all surfaces and high touch areas hourly, including doors, door hardware, ATM’s, bathrooms, and display cases, however we ask that you refrain from touching any surfaces unnecessarily.

• You are welcome to use hand sanitizer provided at each register as well as hand soap in the restroom.

• Staff is permitted to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves and masks and will be sanitizing their hands as frequently as possible.

• If possible, please use your elbow/arm to push open the door on your way out.

Silver Stem Fine Cannabis CEO Address on Coronavirus


From our family to yours,

We consider all of you an important part of our Silver Stem family, and we want you to know that we are mindful of the ways in which the Coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts all of us.

We continue to be here to meet your needs and we are doing all we can to ensure that our stores are prepared for your visit.

For your protection and that of our employees, we have taken the following actions:

We have increased the frequency of regularly scheduled cleanings and disinfection efforts across our stores and facilities, including sanitizing all high touch points; door handles, countertops and other surfaces by wiping them down with disinfectant multiple times a day.

Hand sanitizer is available for customer use at check-in and sales areas.

We have implemented social distancing at all of our stores.

We have instructed our employees to step up good hygiene practices (frequent hand washing, wearing gloves and eliminating non-essential/non-emergency travel). In addition, we have instructed our employees to stay home and seek medical attention if they do not feel well and to report any exposure to a suspected case of COVID-19.

Similarly, we ask that our vendors and customers postpone their visits if they do not feel well or believe that they may have been exposed to a suspected case of COVID-19.

We want to remind you that we have the pre-order option available through our website, and we encourage our customers to use it. This will limit your time at the stores and interaction with other people.

HOW TO SAFELY USE CANNABIS DURING A PANDEMIC

Puff, puff, pass is a thing of the past! If you plan to smoke socially, be prepared!

• Avoid sharing your smoking/vaping accessories and joints.

• If you must share, thoroughly wipe down the mouthpiece of your smoking/vaping device with alcohol and let air dry before the next person takes a hit. You can use alcohol wipes that are commonly found in First Aid kits or just use the rubbing alcohol that you keep around to clean your pieces. Double check that it is at least 60% alcohol, which is the lowest limit recommended by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) for sanitization purposes.

• Keep alcohol wipes handy in your pocket if you share your smoking accessories.

• If you like to smoke in groups remember to space yourselves 6 feet apart per recommendation by the CDC. This will minimize your chances of coming into contact with the virus.

• Did you rip it a little too hard and are coughing? Make sure to turn away from anyone nearby and cough into your elbow. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water once you have recovered.

• Are you standing next to the person coughing after a big hit? Give them extra space!

• Everyone should wash their hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water after completing a group smoke session.
