This holiday is synonymous with festive celebrations, music, food, and, of course, brilliant fireworks shows. In Denver, there's no shortage of festivities to partake in. Here's your guide to the grandest Independence Day events around the city.

Denver: Colorado Rockies Post-Game Fireworks
Join the Colorado Rockies as they take on the Detroit Tigers at Coors Field at 7:10 p.m. A grand fireworks display will follow the game. Ticket prices depend on seat location.
Denver: Cranmer Park Community Picnic
From 6 p.m. onwards, enjoy the community picnic at Cranmer Park. Kids can meet the Denver Fire Department's fire crew and check out a fire engine from around 6:30 p.m. A concert of patriotic and popular music by The Denver Municipal Band starts at 7 p.m.
Glendale: Glendale Fireworks Show
Considered one of the largest and oldest in Denver, gates open at 7:30 p.m. at Infinity Park Stadium. Enjoy movie shorts, videos, and food trucks before the fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.

Denver: Civic Center Independence Eve Celebration
The Civic Center Park will be brimming with excitement from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring local artists and the Colorado Symphony, with a grand fireworks display between 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Denver: Elitch Gardens Fireworks Extravaganza
The Elitch Gardens will light up the Downtown Denver skyline with a fireworks display around 9 p.m.
Denver: Larimer Square Events
Witness chalk artist Tadd Moskal from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., live music with the Alex Blocker Band from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and participate in the Larimer Square Scavenger Hunt from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Lakewood: Big Belmar Bash
Enjoy a community celebration in Belmar Downtown Lakewood from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. featuring a drone light show at about 9:15 p.m.
Littleton: Littleton Red, White & You

The Stengler Sports Complex gates open to vehicles at 7 p.m., with fireworks starting at 9 p.m.
Aurora: Aurora 4th of July Spectacular
Held on the Aurora Municipal Center's Great Lawn starting at 6 p.m., this event features food trucks, musical performances, fun activities, and a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
Commerce City: 4thFest
Starting at 5 p.m. at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, enjoy a pre-match family festival, the Rapids Block Party, and the largest public fireworks show in Colorado after the game at about 9:30 p.m.
Denver: Central Park Pancake Breakfast & Parade
Start your day with a pancake breakfast at 9 a.m., followed by an old-fashioned parade beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Denver: Park Hill 4th of July Parade
The parade starts at 1:30 p.m., featuring 50+ floats, bicycles, costumed characters, classic cars, a marching band and more, ending with a street fair on Kearney Street.
