Super Bowl LV. Short Guide on Everything You Need to Know

Here is how to watch the upcoming Big Game and more details.

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest events of the year, even if you are not that big on football, or even sports in general. Sure, it is mostly about the game, but it is also about so much more, like the exciting half-time show attracting the finest performers, as well as a non-official festival of TV ads that cost millions of dollars. This year’s record setting prices are as high as $5.6 million for a 30-second spot.

Who Will Play in Super Bowl LV? Who Will Host Super Bowl 55?

Super Bowl 2021 teams are Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While the former were favorites in their division as well as conference, the latter going this far made for a bit of a surprise. But of a nice variety. It will be exciting to see the match up of two very different but both highly skilled quarterbacks - the young and talented Patrick Mahomes and “veteran” Tom Brady. Fans are also eagerly awaiting to see one of the best duos in the game - Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill of the Kansas City team.

The Chiefs ravaged The Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship, in a way that was reminiscent of their last year’s playoff games - Andre Reid’s squad was down 10 points but came out victorious once again.

The Bucs had an outstanding season, with Brady and Gronkowski bringing their A game. IN the playoffs their defense was the one to be praised the most though. Well except for the game against Washington.

Just a short while ago Tom Brady playing for the Patriots upset the Chiefs by beating them in regular season and then stopping them short of the Super Bowl in the AFC Championship, which still remains Mahomes' only defeat in post season.

All in all, we are in for an exciting game!

There are numerous fun facts about this year’s Super Bowl.

The Chiefs are in for a Big Sunday second time in a row and Mahomes will be the youngest  quarterback to pull the stunt. The team has also taken part in three consecutive division championships. This also offers a chance of repeating the only time a team won two consecutive Super Bowls - Brady and the Patriots did it in 2003 and 2004.

This year also marks the first time in NFL history when a team will play at their home field in a Super Bowl game.

Tom Brady joins the small rank of players to reach the Super Bowl with two different teams. He’s taken the Patriots there many times and now has done the same in his first year with the Bucs.

What Are the Odds for Super Bowl 55?

There are many Chiefs vs Buccaneers predictions out there, but the bookmakers strongly believe in the Chiefs, assigning Brady and company as underdogs - something this QB is truly not used to.

The betting odds as of January 29 (slight changes may still take place in the week to come) are as follows:

Super Bowl LV Money line

Kansas City Chiefs -175 (bet $175, win $100) Buccaneers +150 (bet $100, win $150)

Super Bowl LV Spread

Chiefs -3.5 (-105) Buccaneers +3.5 (-115)

Super Bowl LV Total

56.5 points, -110 Over, -110 Under

The over and under is the second highest in the history of Super Bowl betting.

When and Where Will Super Bowl 55 be Played?

This Super Bowl Sunday comes on February 7, with the kick-off at 6:30PM ET.

This game will be played at Raymond James Stadium, in Tampa Bay, Florida. The stadium is the home to the Buccaneers.

With the capacity of 75,000 seats, less than a third (22,000) will be occupied during the biggest game of the year due to COVID safety measures. Of these, 7,500 tickets will be provided for free to vaccinated health care workers. The low supply has caused the prices on the few available tickets to skyrocket - from around $5500 on average lat year to $14,110, the highest ever.

Where to Watch Super Bowl LV? How Much Are the Tickets to Super Bowl LV?

How Much Does This Year’s Super Bowl Ad Cost?

Who will perform at Super Bowl 55?
